Bismillah.

            This field note is talked about Islamic studies, especially in Adderasat Islamiah School Pattani Thailand. Well, it is my first time to join with all of my students to learn Al-Qur’an. I never imagine that I was invited by Mrs.Sah to recite Al – Qur’an together. Amazing, I thought. In Adderasat Islamiah, the teacher’s name who guide is Mr.Kho. We can call Ustad Kho. When I followed to recite Al – Qur’an together, I felt so shocked. Why is it so? Because, it is going to be different with how I learn to recite Al – Qur’an in my own home. All of them, will be different. With Ustad Kho, all of the students have to be able to recite Al – Qur’an based on makhraj, tajwid, and so forth. I thought that when I studied in Indonesia, it was difficult to read well, but in this country, it is most difficult that I ever found. Could you imagine? Ustad Kho always try to apply how to recite Al –Qur’an as true as possible. So, he forced their students to keep spirit and take care to read the holy book.

            Based on my first experience, I felt that it is challenging and I will attempt to recite as clear as possible. Almost the students said that learn to recite the Holy Book with Ustad Kho is very hard. They felt that they were so tired after learn with Ustad Kho. However, I consider that it is Ustad Kho’s own way to invite their students to be great in recite the Holy Book. Well, to my understanding, the different country can make a different way to learn something. And I can make it happen in Pattani – Thailand. Talking about religion point of view linked either further our ability in learning religion case only or further our ability in combine learning religion and education case. I thought that, all of point of view included religion, education, technology, economy, and so forth can improve the students’ understanding and increase their knowledge about the whole world. So, don’t be afraid to learn everything if you thought that you can do it. Today must be better than yesterday. It is a key to get the best one day to day.
